Amatis is an independent, non-profitable and non-denominational organization founded in France in 2002 by MM. Alexis and Renaud Wetzel (under 1901 french law). All members work on voluntary basis. 

 Amatis means "you love" in latin (from Amo,amas, amare, amatum). We insist also on the second root "amateur", meaning that every one could act simply and effectively !

We aim at promoting, financing or organizing micro-projects in favour of the so called "least developed Countries" with local partners. Our focus is mainly on Education and Health.

We defend the essential human right to the dignity, the respect and reminds the duty to render assistance to the poorest people. 

Our motto : le goût d'agir ! Goodwill first, the talents will follow !
